MICRONEEDLING

Skin Booster Microneedling Treatment in Denver

Our Stem Booster Facial Treatment is a microneedling skin treatment designed to promote skin rejuvenation. We begin each treatment with a cleanse and gommage, an exfoliating treatment that polishes the skin, effectively removing impurities, dirt, and debris accumulated in pores. Then, we inject Celltermi Regen Solution and Stem Booster Powder into the skin via microneedling to promote collagen and elastin production. Each session ends with a mask to soothe and heal the skin.

What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a non-invasive procedure in which short fine needles puncture the upper layers of the skin. When used in conjunction with Celltermi Regen Solution and Stem Booster Powder, one can expect the reduction of scars and fine lines, smoother skin texture, and an overall more youthful appearance.

How Does the Stem Booster Help?

How Does the Stem Booster Help?

Our Stem Booster Powder protects and slows down the aging of essential skin cells, thus preserving the vitality of the skin, preventing new wrinkle formation, enhancing clarity of complexion, and restoring the skin’s youthful glow.

The results of microneedling can be quite dramatic! You can see results after just one treatment, and the improvement continues to get better over time. However, we do recommend three months of treatment, with one session each month, for optimal results.

NANO-NEEDLING

Nano Infusion Facial

Our nano infusion treatment is an excellent option for specific skin conditions, including wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and scarring. This service is an excellent alternative for individuals who are unable to get microneedling, since it does not wound the skin or draw blood.

The nano treatment offers instant and long-lasting results, stimulating blood circulation in the treatment area, hydrating the skin, softening lines, reducing scarring, and brightening complexion.

How Does Nano-Needling Work?

Unlike microneedling, which uses very fine needles, our nano needling treatments use a nano infusion pen. The pins on this device are microscopic; in fact, they are thinner than a single strand of human hair!

During your session, one of our expert aestheticians will use the nano pen to press the pyramid pins gently on the skin. The pins are covered in a topical product that allows nutrients to pass through the cells on the skin’s surface to the lower dermal layers, leaving your face nourished, radiant, and glowing. Studies have shown that nano infusion facial therapy can improve the skin’s capacity to absorb nutrients by up to 97%!

Looking for microneedling in Denver, CO? You probably want to know what to expect from your first appointment. Our team will walk you through every step of the procedure, so you feel comfortable and confident before we get started. We’ll also provide post-treatment instructions to make sure you’re taking proper care of your skin.

At your microneedling appointment, the aesthetician will start by cleaning your skin with a gentle cleanser and gommage and then applying a numbing cream to minimize any discomfort. Once your skin is numb, the aesthetician will use a small device that contains fine needles to make micro-injuries in the top layer of skin. We also end every session with a mask treatment, to soothe any initial redness and promote healing.

The short answer is yes! Both hyaluronic acid and PRP are collagen-stimulating products that help to hydrate and plump the skin. PRP is also rich in growth factors and other proteins that help to speed up the healing process and promote healthy tissue regeneration. Typically, we will use one of these products immediately following your procedure for more dramatic and rejuvenated results.

No, medical microneedling does not hurt. The needles used are very thin and cause minimal discomfort. Many people report feeling a slight prickling sensation during the procedure, but this is usually temporary and goes away quickly.

It all depends on what you’re hoping to achieve with microneedling. If you’re just looking to improve your skin’s overall appearance, you may start seeing results after just a few treatments. However, if you’re hoping to target specific concerns like scarring or wrinkles, it may take a few more sessions. Either way, it’s essential to be patient and consistent with your treatments for the optimal outcome

No, there is no downtime required after your microneedling treatment.

However, please note that immediately after your treatment, you will look as though you have a moderate to severe sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual.  This is normal and will subside after 1 to 2 hours; clients typically recover completely within 24 hours. You may see slight redness after 24 hours but only in minimal areas or spots.

Avoid applying anything to the treatment area for at least six hours after your microneedling session. After that, you can begin using a gentle cleanser and warm water to wash the area for three days after treatment. Ensure that your hands are clean when touching the area to avoid infection.

We also recommend using hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin and collagen-stimulating peptides to maximize the effects of the treatment. Avoid applying makeup for 1-3 days, and apply chemical-free sunscreen every day.

Lastly, you’ll want to avoid swimming, exercising, and other strenuous activities for the first 24 hours post-treatment, as sweating and pool chemicals can cause adverse effects.

The number of microneedling treatments you need depends on your desired results and the health of your skin. Typically, patients will undergo 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results. The results of microneedling are not immediate but usually worth the wait! If you are looking to rejuvenate your skin from the Colorado elements, microneedling is an excellent choice.

Your skin may be sensitive in the days following treatment, and you may notice: pain and redness, peeling, bruising and/or bleeding. These side effects typically go away within a few days. You’ll also want to keep the area clean after treatment to avoid infection.

Some people might worry about microneedling scars. However, microneedling is actually used for the removal of scars, from acne scarring to burn scarring and more. Get in touch today to learn more about how microneedling can be used to treat your scarring.

Microneedling is not suitable for everyone. People with active skin infections, uncontrolled diabetes, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not have this treatment.

The short answer is, yes! Microneedling creates miniscule punctures in the skin, stimulating new collagen production. This new collagen will help to smooth out your skin’s appearance, aiding not only in the healing of acne scars, but of scars in general.

Medical microneedling offers several benefits over home roller devices. For one, because we numb your face before the treatment in our office, microneedling is less painful and less disruptive to your skin. Because the microneedling device is motorized, the treatment is far more consistent and versatile than a manually-powered dermaroller. Most importantly, microneedling is usually more effective, as the needles are longer and can target your specific areas of concern, such as scarring and fine lines.

Nano Needling FAQs

Both of these treatments offer excellent benefits, and we recommend discussing the best option for your skin with one of our aestheticians. However, there are some main differences that you can consider.

Microneedling is typically best for targeting deep-rooted skin issues, such as scarring or deep lines/wrinkles, as it reaches deeper layers of skin. The treatment relies primarily on the skin’s natural regenerative process, plus some additional serums to speed along recovery.

Nano-needling is the better option for more surface-level skin concerns, especially patients with active acne. This can also be a great choice for individuals with a fear of needles or who do not want to undergo the numbing process that microneedling requires.

If you are considering either of these treatments, Dermal Advantage has you covered with the best microneedling & nano needling treatments in Denver. Contact our office today or schedule directly on our website!

    • Step 2: Your aesthetician will apply a serum around the area being treated. This serum contains nutrients specifically tailored to your specific skin condition.
    • Step 3: We perform the nano infusion facial therapy! Your aesthetician will use the nano infusion pen to open microscopic channels on the skin.
    • Step 4: We finish off each treatment with a face mask to soothe the skin.
