Personal skincare crafted to combat the Colorado elements

As the longest locally-owned spa in Denver, Dermal Advantage specializes in understanding how the Colorado climate impacts our skin. Whether you are a Colorado native or a recent transplant, keeping your skin properly hydrated is crucial. Unfortunately, most skincare products do not take Colorado’s dry air into consideration. That’s where our skincare expertise comes into play.

Our team of licensed professionals specialize in effective listening and balanced lifestyle changes centered around Denver’s unique climate. It is our top priority to support the personal skincare of every client to help them become their most confident and radiant self. Our Team

Stephanie Meastas, Owner & Esthetician

I’ve always been self-conscious about my skin. I started suffering from acne in middle school and it became more severe with each passing year. In 9th grade, with little direction on basic skincare, I lathered my skin in everything I could find that promised acne reduction. From Noxzema Cream to OXY Pads to Biore Pore Strips to toothpaste (!!) I really tried it ALL. But rather than experiencing improvements, it seemed like the more I did, the worse things became. This cycle repeated itself for years, resulting in even more scarring and pigmentation. Finally, I decided to join an Esthetician Training Program to learn how to care for my skin. I packed on a thick layer of MAC makeup to cover up my acne, and my journey began.
Over the next several years, I learned so much about my skin, my health, and my calling. After discovering I had celiac disease, I began to explore the connection between gut health and skin health. And after meeting my mentor Brandi (the founder of Dermal Advantage and one of the first estheticians in Colorado!) I discovered the world of clean skincare and safe ingredients. From there, I was hooked! I knew that I wanted to help as many people as I could feel good about their skin, and I’ve been practicing and honing my skills for 17 years since. There is truly nothing better than seeing the look on someone’s face when they see the results we can help them achieve.

Courtney Ventsam, Owner & Esthetician

Courtney knows firsthand how skin challenges can affect confidence. For the past 15 years, she has navigated her own struggles with acne and is now also balancing the realities of aging skin. Once Courtney learned how to better care for her own skin, she was inspired to help others with their personal skincare. Her experience helps her connect with clients of all ages. Because she has been through what her clients are experiencing, she is passionate about carefully listening to the individual needs and goals of every client.

 

Courtney specializes in treating acne, aging skin, and finding that careful balance between the two. She’s also known for her specialized work in brows and lashes. A graduate of Aveda Institute Denver, Courtney holds certifications in Microneedling, Microdermabrasion, and Microcurrent (non-surgical face lift) treatments, and she’s constantly learning new techniques to better serve her clients.

 

Courtney’s connection to Dermal Advantage Spa runs deep. Her mother-in-law has been a client for 30 years, and her husband went to the spa as a kid. When Courtney and her husband moved back to Denver in 2020, she herself became a client. In 2022 Courtney became a licensed esthetician and joined Stephanie, who took over the business from original owner, Brandi, in 2017. Dermal Advantage was the perfect place for Courtney to hone her skills. In 2025, she purchased the spa from Stephanie to become the full owner.

 

Courtney takes her role in skin care health very seriously. Whether tackling breakouts, softening fine lines, or refining brows, she’s focused on giving people the personal skincare they need to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.

Angie Wald, Esthetician

Angie Wald is a passionate and highly skilled aesthetician with 25 years of experience in the beauty industry. She holds prestigious certifications from the CIDESCO World Congress New York, Chicago’s True U University (Advanced Aesthetics), and PCA SKIN (Advanced Peel Techniques and Clinical Formulations).

Angie takes a personalized approach to anti-aging and overall skin health. Committed to excellence and continuous learning, she is dedicated to helping clients look radiant at any stage of life. Angie is highly trained in a wide range of advanced modalities and specializes in evidence-based treatments—including microneedling, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and microcurrent—to deliver personalized, long-term results.

Mariah Medina, Certified Lash Technician

Mariah is a Certified Lash Technician with 8 years of experience, dedicated to enhancing natural beauty with every client she works with. She specializes in wispy volume, wet sets, and mega volume lashes, and also offers brow waxing, tinting, and lamination services to complete your look.

 

As a proud mom, Mariah balances beauty and life with passion – bringing care, precision, and artistry to every appointment.

Linda Hellman, Office Manager

Linda is our Office & Operations Manager and has been with Dermal Advantage for over 20 years. In this time, she has cultivated countless long-term relationships with our clients, which have made her all the more passionate about the work that we do.

 

Outside of our office, Linda enjoys reading, movies, walking (she was previously a tennis addict!), and spending time with friends and family. She is also an avid lover of all holidays, so you’ll usually find our waiting room festively decorated for seasonal occasions.
